Raffle Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24 August 2025
1. Organiser
These terms apply to raffles run by Whiskers Health Organisation (the "Organiser"), a Registered Charity in England & Wales (No. 1212966). Registered address: 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@whiskershealth.org (10:00-20:00 UK time).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
2. Eligibility
- Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
- Employees of the Organiser and their immediate family/household members are not eligible.
- Void where prohibited by law.
3. Tickets, pricing and limits
- Ticket price is shown on each raffle page in GBP (£). No account is required to purchase.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe (and, if enabled, other providers such as PayPal).
- Unless otherwise stated, a maximum of 10 tickets per person applies. The Organiser may adjust this limit per raffle and publish it on the raffle page.
4. How to enter
Purchase a ticket during the open sales period displayed on the raffle page. After successful payment, your ticket entry reference(s) (format like WHO-XXXXXX) will be shown on the success page and sent by email. If you mistype your email or the email bounces, your ticket references are still valid as displayed onscreen; please contact hello@whiskershealth.org for assistance.
5. Raffle period and changes
- Each raffle’s close/draw time is shown on its page. Times are UK time unless stated.
- The Organiser may extend the raffle window (e.g., if insufficient tickets are sold) or postpone the draw where reasonably necessary.
6. Draw method and fairness
We use a transparent, reproducible method: the exact list of ticket IDs is locked with a cryptographic hash (SHA-256). At draw time, a secure 32-bit random value is generated and used to select a winner by index. The locked list hash and random value are published so anyone can verify the outcome. See Fairness & proof for details.
7. Winners and notification
- Unless stated otherwise, there is one (1) winner per raffle.
- Winners are notified by email and the winning entry reference is published on the results pages. Personal details are not published.
- The winner must respond within 3 days of notification. If not claimed in time, the Organiser may redraw or otherwise deal with the prize at its discretion.
8. Prizes and delivery
- Prize details (and any stated retail value) are described on the raffle page.
- No cash alternative or substitution is offered unless the Organiser is unable to supply the stated item, in which case a reasonably equivalent item may be offered.
- Delivery is UK-only. The Organiser will cover standard UK shipping costs. Any taxes/duties (if applicable) are the winner’s responsibility.
9. Refunds, cancellations and invalid entries
- All sales are final after the draw. If a raffle is cancelled prior to the draw, the Organiser will refund entries.
- Entries may be voided in cases of chargeback, suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms.
10. Conduct
The Organiser may refuse, suspend, or cancel entries where it reasonably suspects bots, multiple identities, fraud, abuse, or behaviour designed to unfairly influence outcomes.
11. Privacy
We collect necessary details to run the raffle and deliver prizes (e.g., name, email, payment metadata). Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We also use Supabase (database) and Resend (email) as service providers. We will contact you about your entry and if you win. Marketing messages are not sent unless you explicitly opt in.
A full Privacy Policy will be published on our website. Until then, we retain transaction records as required by law and only use your data to operate the raffle and fulfil prizes.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for failures outside its reasonable control (including force majeure events).
13. Changes and general
- The Organiser may update these terms where reasonably necessary. The latest version and date will be shown on this page.
- If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in effect.
14. Contact and complaints
For questions or complaints, email hello@whiskershealth.org. We aim to respond within our stated support hours (10:00–20:00 UK time).
Note: These terms are provided for clarity of your raffle operations and are not legal advice.
